Company History

CareSource Management Group is based in Dayton, Ohio, and was founded on the success of CareSource, Ohio’s largest Medicaid managed health care plan. In 1989, CareSource (then known as Dayton Area Health Plan) pioneered the state’s first Medicaid managed care program in the Dayton area.

Since its inception, the company has continued to evolve and thrive. CareSource Management Group now provides a full spectrum of services for the administration of public-sector health care programs, serving more than 500,000 Medicaid consumers in Ohio and Michigan.
